Safe Boating Course Grand Lake

The Grand Lake Sail & Power Squadron is putting on America’s Boating Course this fall at the Grand Lake Visitor’s Center.

During the “On The Water” component, certified instructors use their own boats to give students instructions on required safety equipment, slow speed maneuvering, pivot turns, man overboard drills and other useful boating skills.

Completion of America’s Boating Course qualifies successful students to receive a free 6 month trial membership in United States Power Squadrons.

The Grand Lake Sail and Power Squadron is the area’s premier boating organization, comprised of over 125 members.

The squadron has monthly meetings at local restaurants, organizes dock parties, raft ups, and other boating activities.
