“America’s Boating Course”, by the United States Power Squadrons ®, will be presented by Grand Lake Sail and Power Squadron with a two-day class held over two successive Saturdays, June 7 and June 14, 2014.

All classes will be held at the Grand Lake Visitors Center in Grove from 9 AM to 2 PM. The cost of the course, which includes an “On The Water Training” component is $40 per person. For each additional student in the same household the cost is $13 if texts are shared.

Safe Boating Course Grand Lake

The Grand Lake Sail & Power Squadron is putting on a Safe Boating Course in 2 parts on Saturday June 7th & Saturday June 14th in Grove.

“America’s Boating Course” is a NASBLA approved initial safe boating class. All students satisfactorily completing the course will receive a boating education card.

The course meets the requirements set forth in Oklahoma’s Kyle Williams Safe Boating Act.

Both the classroom instruction and the “On The Water” instruction will be by instructors certified by the United States Power Squadrons®.

The Grand Lake Sail and Power Squadron is one of over 400 squadrons of the United States Power Squadrons®. The local squadron has over 100 members and is active in boating education, community service, and social activities.
