It’s the kick-off to the summer season at the Grand Lake State Park – Bernice Nature Center.
The weekend will feature naturalist led hikes, activities and adventures. Events will take place throughout the weekend at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 23, 24 and 25 .
At 1 p.m., the staff at the nature center hosts a “Wild Eats” where park staff feed the park animals for the public. The event is designed to let participants learn how and what food animals eat, along with why a proper diet is required for all living things.
For more information, persons interested may contact Amanda Wiley, park naturalist, at 918-257-8330, email [email protected].
