Hook n Cook-Off at Grand Lake OK

The South Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the Hook ‘n Cook-Off in several ways…enter a Cooking Team, purchase a vendor booth and/or become a Sponsor of this fun event.

By entering a Cooking Team, your team could be crowned one of the best Fish Fry Cooks in the country.

Each team is to prepare fish, coleslaw and hushpuppies to be judged by our secret panel of judges.

Each entry will be judged on aroma, looks, taste and aftertaste.

Plus again this year – the first 10 cooking teams to sign up will get their cooking team entry fee waved – that’s a $150 savings.

That’s right the first 10 cooking teams entered will get in for FREE!

All this and something new for all ages….Catfish Races!!

Yep, we’re talking real live Catfish which are placed inside plastic runways and when the starter’s gun sounds, the races are on.

Betting is allowed and winners are paid off in Catfish dollars which can be used with vendors participating in this huge event.

For a first-hand look at what should be a fun addition to the event, check out the video below.

The nearly 1500 people who attended last year’s event can’t be wrong.
