Thanks to the beautiful March weather from last weekend, and more specifically Sunday, the Grand Lake Association has announced that the 2014 Grand Lake Boat & Sports show is being extended for two more days, Friday March 7th from 3 pm to 7 pm and Saturday, March 8th from 10 am to 6 pm.

The Grand Lake Boat & Sports Show takes place at the Grove Civic Center, with free admission for all.

“The boat dealers put so much work into the show and the storm essentially closed us down Sunday, so we have decided to add this coming Friday and Saturday for people to come out and shop for boats and other items,” said Tad Jones, Executive Director of the Grand Lake Association.

Life Jackets Grand Lake OK

There are still free life jackets to be handed out to kids at the extended Grand Lake Boat Show.

Some vendors will not be able to return for next week, so there are some spaces available for new vendors if you’d like to reach more people at Grand Lake.  If your business is interested in a booth, please call 918-786-2289 or email [email protected].

Santa’s Old Broads will again provide food on Saturday and there will be periodic drawings for prizes on Friday and Saturday.

The Grand Prize Drawing for a package from Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa that was scheduled for Sunday afternoon will now be at 4 PM on Saturday.

People will also be able to buy badges for the Grand Lake Extravaganza, the World’s Largest Bass Tagged Event that will be held April 1-May 18th, at the GLA booth.

There will also be free life-jackets, donated by the GRDA and fitted by the Grand Lake Sail and Power Squadron, for children under 12 who are accompanied by an adult, while supplies last.

“This is a unique situation and we are pleased to offer a few more days for people to come out and attend the boat show and win some great prizes,” said Jones.  “We appreciate the city of Grove accommodating the additional days.”
