Fall is in the air, the Delaware County Free Fair happens this week, and that means Saturday, September 7th is the day for the 8th Annual Roadkill Chili Cook-Off at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
The Delaware County Fairgrounds are located just North of Jay on US Highway 59.
Tasting kits are only $5 and include a bottle of water to go with all that chili!

This event has grown into a favorite of Grand Lakers and fair goers alike with 6 categories and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, including cash prizes for 1st place.
The categories for this year’s chili cook-off include Business, Non-Profit, School, Church, Individual & Youth.

The Delaware County Free Fair is a throwback county fair with livestock events for young and old as well as many exhibits, vendors and great fair food.
