Here is the latest fishing report for Oklahoma’s Grand Lake…courtesy of local guide Rusty Pritchard.
Take it away Rusty…
Fishing has been great the last few days! The water is dropping fast now and it’s getting down to that normal elevation. Keep up to date on the elevation and flood releases here.
We have been running a ton of white bass trips and doing fantastic!
We have been throwing out 1 and 1.5 ounce [easyazon_link identifier=”B008ELJ3EQ” locale=”US” tag=”myfamanc-20″]Bendable Minnows[/easyazon_link] and putting a 3″ Crappie Kicker above it and catching two at a time!
We have been keying on the north end of the lake and fishing flats and points with wind and shad present on them.
We have even been catching a ton of channels on the slabs.
Catfish are being caught on cut bait and Sudden Impact fiber bait.
They have been on the flats feeding with the current being pulled through the lake from the dam releasing.
Catfishing will be getting better and better as the cats start to finish their spawn.
Bow fishing is starting to get better and better now that the water is getting down to normal.
We have been killing them on grass flats around the lake here lately and we have a ton of trips lined up and should be a great rest of the summer for bow fishing!
Also if your on Facebook look me up under Rusty Pritchard and keep up on the action daily!
