This Sunday, October 20th, the Wohali Rods Bass Classic Tournament will take place on Grand Lake, and with it comes the chance to catch a bass worth $20,000.

And as part of this event, the Grand Lake Association has released 15 tagged bass, with each tagged fish being worth at least $50 and one special tagged bass worth $20,000 if it’s caught on Sunday.

This is a one day only event, and the tagged bass are part of a promotion from the GLA for the Grand Lake Extravaganza event that runs from April 1st through May 18th, 2014.Wohali Bass Classic at Grand Lake

In order to win a prize from a tagged fish, participants in the Wohali Classic need to register and buy a commemorative Grand Lake Extravaganza key chain badge.

Entry in the Wohali Classic alone does not enter you for the prizes from tagged fish.

You can register for this special promotion at http://www.grandlakeextravaganza.com/ or you can also register at the tournament registration on Saturday the 19th at Stonebrook Inn in Grove.

The tournament itself is sponsored by Wohali Outdoors and is a two-man team, one-day fishing event with a $200 entry fee for each boat.

Registration is on Saturday at the Stonebrook Inn in Grove, with the tournament itself launching at the Wolf Creek Boat Ramp in Grove  on Sunday morning.

Each tournament participant receives a Wohali Rod plus there are numerous prizes and giveaways, including a drawing for a Bass Cat boat with a Mercury Optimax Pro X/S motor.

The first place tournament winner is guaranteed a $10,000 payday.
