Humane Society of Grove & Grand Lake

Humane Society of Grove and Grand LakeAt the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake it is our goal to provide a safe, caring and loving environment for abused and abandoned dogs and cats in the Grand Lake area.

One of the things that we pride ourselves on is that we are a no-kill shelter, and as such we are usually at capacity with approximately 120 dogs and 65 cats.

The pet overpopulation problem is an ongoing issue in the Grove and Grand Lake area and we work everyday to help keep this problem in tack.

We offer low cost spay and neuter clinics throughout the area to sty to help address this problem.

Additionally, all of the animals that enter the shelter are spayed or neutered shortly after they arrive, so that when you adopt a pet from the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake you know that the animal has already been spayed or neutered.

The Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake, Inc., is a 501 ( c ) 3 not-for-profit, private animal shelter, established in 1984 and governed by a Board of Directors. We are not affiliated with any national group and we do not receive any local, state, or federal government funding.
