Do you love rock crawling, four-wheelin’ and beautiful fall weekends?
Then this is going to be a perfect weekend (Oct 21-23) to be in Disney, Oklahoma at the 2016 Rocktoberfest Fun Run on the rocks below Pensacola Dam.
There is nothing organized this weekend…just the extended rock crawling family hitting the trails and having a good time – running what you got until it breaks or it’s time to lay down!
Donations have been collected and there will be a free raffle for the off road drivers. Registration for the raffle is on Saturday between 10 am and noon, with the drawing at 6 pm but you must be present to win.
There are also plans for a 50/50 raffle with all the money collected to help purchase Christmas decorations for Main Street in Disney. Plus, a donation jar will be set out at Chezzies.
You can also expect to find some vendors and food trucks out near the fire department at the east end of Pensacola Dam.
The perfect fall temperatures make it a great time to scratch that off road itch and head to Disney for some off road fun and a big party among friends.
One more thing…if you feel like venturing across the dam to Langley (or taking the back way), the South Grand Lake Lions Club is hosting their annual Chili Cook-Off starting at 11 am. You can find out more about that HERE.
