“We’ve been contacted by people from 11 different states that are coming. We’re proud to be part of something that’s bringing visitors to Grand Lake and making a positive economic impact for our community. We’ve worked hard to promote this event and produce a show that is unique and professional. We want it to be a destination event drawing boaters from all around the country. The response is exciting. We want to pack Check-In Bay with boats.”
The show starts at noon Saturday, but the raft lines will be starting early so get there and get tied-up on a line.
Please do not pull in and just drop anchor.
There’s going be a lot of boats attending so all boats need to be on a raft line.
For the safety of swimmers, a designated swim area is located between the stage and the first row of boats.
100’ either side of it is a restricted area and no boats will be allowed to pass- thru.
There’s a lot of useful information about the event, what to expect at the event and maps to help you navigate the day at www.redneckraftout.com.
Press Release Update * May 18th, 2020
Jeff and Amanda Silvers, organizers of the 2020 Redneck Raft Out at Grand Lake say the party is ON!
This pandemic has turned the world upside down for all of us. Most events around the country have made the decision to go ahead and throw in the towel for 2020 including almost all regional and national concert events.
After discussions with our bands and our sponsors, we decided early on that since the event isn’t until Labor Day weekend, we should continue moving forward.
With the progression of the “re-opening” plan for the State of Oklahoma, it looks like we made the correct decision.
Everybody is ready to get out and enjoy life and we’re excited that Grand Lake is going to be the host for an event that is now going to be one of the larger ones around the Country.
Our Bands touring schedules have been canceled since mid-March and Redneck Raft Out 2020 is going to be one of their first shows since the shutdown.
We’re in for a treat because they all have been writing and recording some new material and are excited and energized to get back on stage.
Make your plans and book lodging NOW for Saturday, September 5th on Labor Day weekend.
Load up your boat with family and friends and be part of the Largest and Loudest party on Grand Lake.
A truly unique on-the-water concert experience with a floating stage and beautiful Check-In Bay for the backdrop, the towers and rigging are raised and the speakers are flown for this free, family-friendly spectacle!
The Gasoline Gypsies from Detroit Michigan headline the show that also features Framing The Red from Jackson, Mississippi, Travis Bond and the Rebel Souls from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Grand Lake’s own Faulconer Duo.
“We really want to thank all of our Sponsors who realize the tourism impact this event has and joining us in bringing it to Grand Lake. Please support them and refer their businesses and services to others whenever you have the opportunity.”
*February 22nd Update – RRO To Benefit Wild Heart Ranch
Organizers of the 2020 Redneck Raftout at Grand Lake are excited to announce that Wild Heart Ranch Wildlife and Rehabilitation will be the non-profit beneficiary of this year’s event.
Wild Heart Ranch is a non-profit, State and Federally licensed rehabilitation facility for wildlife. They take in all indigenous species of wildlife for NE Oklahoma, taking in more than 3,000 orphaned and injured wild animals each year.
Redneck Raft Out takes pride in not only providing a much-anticipated annual destination tourism event for Grand Lake but also in the commitment to each year providing a much deserving organization with a donation of all profits from the RRO.
You can support the Redneck Raftout by donating HERE, and all proceeds remaining after the costs of the event will be donated to Wild Heart Ranch. Your support is appreciated!
Debuting the large floating stage, professional stage rigging and a professional flown line array sound system last year, 2020 adds in 3 national recording/touring artists to make The Redneck Raft Out not only the largest and loudest on-the-water concert in the region but one of Grand Lake’s largest and most anticipated events.
The Gasoline Gypsies, out of Detroit, MI are a widely acclaimed “roots rock” band and currently have 3 albums released.
The release of their 2017 album Killin Time resulted in winning Detroit Music Awards for “Best Americana Act” and “Best Americana Recording” and JBL naming them one of the 3 best-unsigned bands in America.
The release of their current album Vagabundos garnered them 3 more Detroit Music Awards in 2019.
The Gasoline Gypsies are getting National radio play and are set to begin a tour through the Southeastern states in January and we are lucky that their summer/fall tour includes a stop at The Redneck Raft Out at Grand Lake, OK!
Framing The Red out of Jackson, MS is a southern rock n roll band taking the national music scene by storm!
With the release of their freshman album Welcome to the Show in 2012, the band embarked on a national tour that hasn’t stopped yet!
Framing The Red continues their relentless tour schedule, opening for numerous bands such as Motley Crue, Sevendust, and others, bringing their music to fans across the country and we can’t wait to have that at Grand Lake!
Travis Bond and The Soul Rebels out of Tulsa, OK have been making waves on the local music scene and are now taking on the national scene.
The winner of 4 Tulsa Music Awards in 2018 and nominated for 2 more in 2019, Travis Bond and The Soul Rebels straddle the line of red dirt and southern rock and are hitting the road in 2020 and have booked clubs, opening slots and several festivals including Redneck Raft Out and Rocklahoma for their national tour.
Faulconer Duo, Grand Lake’s own Jason and Magen Faulconer are scheduled to open The 2020 Redneck Raft Out with a never-before-heard set of all original songs!
Jason, formerly of the band Lickitty Split and his daughter Magen, who has literally grown up singing around Grand Lake, are out playing local clubs around the area.
If you don’t already have it… find yourself a place to stay at Grand Lake and get ready for the biggest and best Labor Day Weekend party in the State at the 2020 Redneck Raft-Out!
