Looking for Cajun good food, good times and good music? You don’t have to travel deep into the heart of Cajun Country of Louisiana; it can be found in Grove at the Grove Civic Center on July 2nd with authentic Cajun music, Cajun food and many great entertainers such as Doug Kershaw and Jana Jae.
Arts, crafts, and food vendors will be participating assuring everyone of a choice that will suit them from beautifully handcrafted jewelry to Native American art.
Love great food? Enjoy Cajun treats such as chicken & sausage jambalaya and Cajun fried catfish to more traditional foods such as hot dogs and hamburgers.
Doors open at 9 a.m. and the festival fun goes until 4 p.m. Music on the festival stage begins at 10 a.m. with performances by Chris Miller and Bayou Roots, Barry “Bones” Patton, Clint Walker, Jana Jae – the Queen of Country Fiddle, and Cajun music legend Doug Kershaw.
In particular, Doug Kershaw will be performing at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.; don’t miss this high-energy show. Cajun Festival admission is $5 for adults and kids under 12 are free.
