Har-Ber Village Civil War Days 2022

The Civil War Era Historical Days will converge at Har-Ber Village April 22nd through April 24th – Come out and join the fun for three days of Living History Demonstrations and Education about that era in American history.

Friday the 22nd is an educational day chalked full of demonstrations that will allow students to not only learn about the historical battles and local township raids, but also the daily living aspect of families during times of war. In many instances, this was the first time that women entered the workforce and learned trades to help support the households. They will have nearly 25 stops to learn different aspects of the era. There will be 8 hands-on stations for them to participate at.

Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th come to enjoy a family outing! Our battle reenactments and township raids at 11 am and 1 pm are sure to wow the whole group. There will be 25 demonstrations for you to stop at and learn about the daily living of that era. Enjoy purchasing handmade products from various vendors!

Saturday Evening enjoy a Civil War Ball starting at 6 pm that will be held in our Event Tent! Enjoy the sounds of The Stickley’s, a Civil War Era Bluegrass Band. You will have a Dance Caller that will teach you the dance steps! Come in costume or as yourself!
