It’s time again for the legendary Duck Creek Fireworks extravaganza at Duck Creek on beautiful Grand Lake celebrating July 4th as only Grand Lakers can.
This is Oklahoma’s biggest and best July 4th fireworks show, and with all the money they have raised this year it should be the biggest ever.
Now keep in mind there are several other very impressive on the water Fireworks shows at Grand Lake, but Duck Creek is the granddaddy of them all and is the only show happening on July 4th this year.
So here is the schedule of events for the 2014 Duck Creek Fireworks so you can plan your July 4th at Grand Lake accordingly…
4 pm – World War II Warbirds and other planes begin arriving at the South Grand Lake Regional Airport. Visit the airport to check out the planes up close and meet the pilot.
6:30 pm – Tune your radios to 99.3 KGVE FM for the beginning of the live radio show from Duck Creek.
7:30 pm – Planes begin taking off for the popular Duck Creek flyover.
9:30 pm – The one and only DUCK CREEK FIREWORKS begin. Be sure to listen to the live simulcast on 99.3 KGVE FM.
10 pm – The new tradition of the Ring of Fire around Duck Creek. It is asked the residents wait until the Duck Creek show is over before sending your own individual fireworks into the air for the Ring of Fire.
