Here is the latest fishing report for Grand Lake, once again courtesy of Rusty Pritchard…
The spoonbill fishing continues to be great! We’ve caught some monsters so far this year so far!
I was filming a TV show with Fired Up Outdoors last week and put an 86 pounder in the boat!! Biggest spoon of the year for me this year – and the day before that we landed a 76 pounder!!
The spoonbill are staying out in the wintering holes good right now from Sailboat Bridge to Patricia Island.
Just use your electronics and you’ll pickup the big schools of fish.
And, make sure to checkout www.spoonbillking.com for all your tackle.
The catfish are still on the feedback! Took a trip out a few days back for them and ended up catching them in 60′ of water.
This warmer weather has delayed the shad kill and the fish are still biting well.
Crappie are biting really good most day on Fle Fly Flicker Tails.
I’ve seen some good stringers coming out of docks, and I’ve seen really big crappie on those stringers!
I haven’t heard much report on white bass.
I know the rivers up north were frozen until this warm weather, and it should be good fishing up that way if you can get up there!
