Har-Ber Village is a pioneer era village and museum that has been re-created along the shores of Oklahoma’s Grand Lake O’ the Cherokee. Visitors take a self-guided stroll through the village to experience the historic buildings, antiques and memorabilia.
The exhibits at Har-Ber Village Museum represent a mix of antiques, collectibles and reproductions that give visitors a sense of the times in the mid 1800’s to early 1900’s in this area of the country.
Har-Ber Village features several historic buildings that have been moved to their current location to create the village experience. This includes a schoolhouse, jail and over 20 log cabins. Additionally, other structures have been built to house the extensive collection of antiques and memorabilia that are typical of the time and way of life in Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma.
Featuring hands-on exhibits, monthly programs, craft demonstrations and a full calendar of events, Har-Ber Village truly is a can’t miss stop located in a beautiful setting near Grove, Oklahoma along Grand Lake.
The museum also features a Visitors Center, a gift shop called The Country Store, an Ecology Center and a scenic Nature Trail.
Har-Ber Village Museum is open daily from March 15 through November 15. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 pm to 6 pm. Gates close one hour before closing.
