The South Grand Lake Regional Airport, located just North of the Town of Ketchum, is strategically located to provide fast and easy access to the Grand Lake region of Northeast Oklahoma.
The airport has grown from a sod strip with a pole barn hanger to a busy regional airport with a 5,200′ x 60′ lighted hard surface runway, a 2000′ x 80′ sod strip, and a 1500′ x 100′ grass strip.
In addition to the new runways, the South Grand Lake Regional Airport now includes 35 hangar lots, a terminal building with restroom, long term parking garages, an overnight hangar, Unicom, Wi-Fi hotspot and internet security cameras.
Fuel is of course available as well, offering Phillips 66 branded LL 100 and Jet A PRIST self service fuel, with fuel assistance available with notice.
As part of regional economic development plans, the South Grand Lake Regional Airport is designed to benefit the entire Grand Lake region.
To that end, the airport also includes a 15 acre event facility with a pavilion, power for events and plenty of parking for events of just about any size.
This allows the airport to host not only fly-ins and airshows, including the popular warbirds during the annual July 4th celebration, but also regional events including the annual catfish Hook-N-Cook Off put on annually by the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
The South Grand Lake Regional Airport (1K8) is a Municipal Airport.
