GROVE, OK – On Thursday, July 3, 2025, 5G Marine, LLC officially acquired Grand Lake Boat Sales / Hi-Lift Marina from longtime owners Kevin McClure and Phil Hershberger, ushering in a new era for the beloved marina on the south side of Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees.
This acquisition marks a significant moment for the Grand Lake community, marina customers, and boaters alike. New owners Caleb and Tonya Goldner, through 5G Marine, have exciting plans to transform Hi-Lift Marina into a full-fledged destination with expanded amenities and a refreshed vision.
“Hi-Lift Marina is a gem on the south side of Grand Lake that often gets overlooked by boaters looking for fuel, beverages, and snacks. Our goal is to turn Hi-Lift Marina into a destination on this lake while enhancing the benefits of being a slip renting customer,” said Caleb Goldner, Owner of 5G Marine.
Future improvements include:
– Expansion of the marina docks and slip offerings
– Enhanced ship store and fuel dock services
– A larger focus on Grand Lake Boat Sales, including new boat brands and boat consignment services
– Boat Lift Support and Sales for added convenience and customer service.
Hi-Lift Marina is located by boat in Drowning Creek and by car in Eucha, OK.
Former owner Kevin McClure expressed his excitement and support for the transition:
“The future is bright for the new owners and customers of Hi-Lift Marina. We couldn’t be more excited that the Goldner family is adding another business to Grand Lake. Caleb has already made a name for himself in the marine industry with his work in new dock construction, boat lifts, dock accessories, and more. We couldn’t have picked a better family to carry on this legacy.”
Importantly, Kevin McClure will continue as part of the sales team, providing familiarity and continuity for customers during this exciting transition.
“While we plan to make improvements and enhancements, we plan to keep the same charm of this marina alive,” added Caleb Goldner. “We invite everyone to stop by this summer and follow along as we prepare for an exciting 2026 boating season.”
