Benefit Poker Run

Make plans to join the fun on Saturday, August 24th, for a Benefit Poker Run to support Jason and Terrie Thomas, whose home was tragically lost in a fire.

Jason has been a dedicated member of the Grand Lake community for years, working at gas docks, as a mechanic, and most recently as a key part of TowBoatUS Grand Lake.

Jason and Terrie have always been known for their generosity, fostering and adopting children, and now they need our help.

And fun on the lake always rallies Grand Lakers… so a Poker Run it is!

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, August 24th
• Entry Fee: $30 per hand

Poker Run Stops:

• Start at 11am: The Landings Marina (Pay and Enter Here)
• Chip Pickup Locations:
  • Hi-Lift Marina
  • Cherokee Yacht Club Gas Dock
  • Safe Harbor/Harbors View Marina
  • Grand Meridian (Harbor’s View location for chips)
  • Cedar Port Marina
  • Ugly John’s Marina
• End Chip Check-in and Card Draw by 5pm: Sharky’s Bar

Additional Activities:

• 6PM Live Auction: Hosted by JB Robinson Auctioneers at Sharky’s Bar, featuring items donated by the Grand Lake community.
• Award Ceremony: Announcement of the Poker Run Winner.

How You Can Help:

• Donations: If you can’t attend, you can still contribute by donating to the “Care of Jason Thomas Account” at American Bank in Disney.
• Live Auction Donations: Call Steve at 918-782-8600 for drop-off and pickup.
• Fund Allocation: 100% of the proceeds will go towards rebuilding the Thomas family home.
