Each and every Christmas, Grove, Oklahoma transforms into a winter wonderland complete with unique shopping and dining, exciting events, and dazzling Christmas light displays set against the shores of beautiful Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees.

The Lights on the Lake Christmas Festival kicks-off this weekend with our Christmas Open House on November 13th-14th.
A number of local businesses will be participating this year, by offering discounts and open house specials during this exciting holiday event.
These merry merchants include: Time After Time Flea Market, The Den of Uniquity, The Regatta on Grand, Rustic Rehab, LLC, The Posh Pelican of Grand, DarLynn Embroidery, The Lakehouse, Note- Able Workshop, 420Releaf, Tulsa Diamond House, The Party Station, The Rusty Willow, LLC, Grand Lake Sports Center, The Muddy Pearl, Jana Jae’s Gallery Southwest, Har-Ber Village on Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees Gift Shop, Grove’s Royal liquor, Grand Panache, and The Cafe at Har-ber Village.

Santa’s Ozark Mountain Village
Nov. 27th & 28th and Dec. 5th & 19th (5:30 pm – 8:30 pm)
Santa’s Ozark Mountain Village is a mid-1800’s themed outdoor Christmas light display and walkthrough experience, sponsored by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and Har-Ber Village Museum.
Our story begins in 1864 when America needed Christmas more than ever before.
Overwhelmed and overworked with no time to play, Santa and his elves worked night and day.
His solution came by word of mouth, Santa heard about the Ozarks way down to the South.
Their skill and craftsmanship couldn’t be beat, but could Santa’s elves handle the heat?
With a touch of his nose and some magical power, it would snow on the foothills upon every hour.
Santa loaded up his sleigh and was soon on his way, for he knew what to do save Christmas Day!
The sweet smell of dogwood, such a pleasant aroma, welcomed Mr. Claus to Oklahoma.
The holiday season was beginning to lurk, so Santa pushed up his sleeves and went straight to work,
with grit, determination, and a pinch of hospitality, his dream of a second workshop became a reality.

Griswolds of Grand Decorating Competition
Entry Deadline: Nov. 27
’Tis the season for bragging rights and friendly competition, but we’ll settle for anything civil.
Bring out your inner Clark Griswold this Christmas with the Griswolds of Grand Decorating Competition!
The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce encourages members and the community to work together in the spirit of the season to increase curb appeal and to promote shopping local by making our city shine a little brighter this Christmas.
“Nobody’s walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas!”
Sign-up by submitting your name, business name (if applicable), address, and phone number to [email protected] no later than November 27, 2020.
Participating businesses and residences will be judged between November 30th and December 3rd in three divisions: commercial interior, commercial exterior, and residential exterior.
Three lucky winners will be announced and awarded at the “Lights on Grove! Christmas Kick-Off Celebration” on Dec. 4th.

Gather together with friends new and old in the spirit of Christmas and Community as we countdown to the lighting of the community center lawn and the 22 ft. tall city Christmas tree!
With the flip of a switch and a few surprises, the town square will come alive in a spectacle of lights and sound creating a “Grand” tradition for you and yours!

A time-honored tradition beloved by many returns for its 20th season!
Nothing brings out the child in all of us quite like watching dazzling lighted floats glide through the streets of the town during the most anticipated Christmas event of the season, the Annual Lighted Christmas Parade.
In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we’re rolling out the red carpet with a blockbuster theme, “Tinseltown: Christmas at the Movies!”
