Toes in the Grand Festival 2024

The 7th annual Toes in the Grand Summer Kick-off Festival is set for June 7-9 at Grove’s Wolf Creek Park. The event, presented by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, is packed with things to do for all ages.

Returning to the event is the Thunder on Wolf Creek Boat Races that will take place all three days of the festival. Test runs are scheduled for June 7 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.  The official races will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

With more than 14,000 in attendance at the festival last year, event organizers anticipate record crowds for the free events.

Food trucks, vendors and the beer garden will open on Friday, June 7 at noon. On Saturday, they will open at 10 a.m.

The only activity at the festival on Sunday, June 9 will be the boat races.

The ATHS Historic Semi-Truck Show & Shine will be back in 2024. The trucks will be on display on Friday and Saturday.

The Grand Lake YMCA will be hosting a Triathlon on Saturday at Wolf Creek Park.  Registration can still be made directly through the YMCA.

Entertainment on the Cherokee Casino Stage at Wolf Creek Park will see three bands on Friday night.  Jeff Tatum and the Palomino Moon Band will kick off the festival at 5 p.m. They will be followed by the Street Kings and then Braden Jamison and the Neon Strangers will close things up on the opening night.

On Saturday, the entertainment will include Porter Crossing, Steve Hamby & The Ways, and the final band will be Tuesday’s Gone. The free concerts are sponsored by the Grove Convention & Tourism Bureau and the Cherokee Nation.

New to the summer festival is the Patricia Island Country Club Kids Zone.  This area will feature kids’ activities from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 8.

The Cherokee Nation will have artists onsite to showcase various cultural experiences. Additionally, kids will have the opportunity to participate in many different stations.

The Grand Lake Casino VIP area at Wolf Creek Park will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Entrance into the tent requires a wristband. Food and drink tickets will be made available to event sponsors. The tent will be adjacent to the beer garden area.

The Toes in the Grand Car, Truck and Bike Show, presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts, is set for Saturday, June 8 at the festival. The cost to enter a vehicle is $20. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. The show is set from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Award plaques will be issued for fourteen categories and award trophies will be given out for best of show, best of show/first runner-up, people’s choice and vice-mayor’s choice. Pre-registration can be made by contacting the Grove Chamber at 918-786-9079.
