It's shaping up to be a scorcher of a weekend out here. Friday's still fairly reasonable in the mid-80s, but Saturday jumps to the upper-90s and Sunday flirts with triple digits. Sunshine and light winds both days, so if you're headed out on the water, hydrate like it's your job.
And there's plenty of reason to be out there — this is Grand Jam on the Water weekend at Duck Creek, with a Friday night pre-party at Blind Swine and the full Saturday lineup at Safe Harbor Harbors View Marina.
And for you shoppers out there… It’s the first Wolf Creek Vintage Market in Grove.
Plus, all of the goodness that comes with Grand Lake in July.

Lake Level - The lake level as of 8 am is 744.1’ with no gates open. There is intermittent generation on the river side. The lake is in perfect mid-season condition, with temps in the 80s. Get out there and enjoy!
Grand Jam on the Water — Duck Creek's big summer bash returns Friday and Saturday. Friday night's the pre-party at Blind Swine on Duck Creek with Lickitty Split at 6 pm and an overnight raft-up. Saturday's the main event at Harbors View Marina at Noon with Covington Creek Band, KC Johns, Taylor Hunnicutt, a bikini contest, and Ava Grace singing the National Anthem for a Tribute to the Troops. Time to party!
Wolf Creek Vintage Market — First-ever vintage market at the new Wolf Creek Expo in Grove, Saturday (9-5) and Sunday (9-4). Antiques, collectibles, and all kinds of good junk under one roof at 1601 Sunrise Blvd. Admission is $5 (kids free) and free parking.
A Wrinkle in Time at Grove Playmakers — Catch a performance Friday night at 7:30 or Sunday matinee at 2:00. $15 adults, $8 students. (918) 786-8950 for reservations.
🛶 Grand River Dam Paddle — Mark your calendars, paddlers — the Grand River Dam Paddle (GRDP) is back for its 4th year on the Grand River below the dam in Langley, and it lands on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, September 5th. It's a great excuse to get out on the water with your kayak or SUP, and there's always a solid raffle full of Grand Lake and paddle-related prizes to sweeten the deal. Yes, it's still a ways off — but early sign-ups usually score an extra raffle ticket, so it pays to get entered ahead of time. This event brings paddlers from all over, so let’s get some local Grand Lakers registered and represent this year! Register and get all the details HERE.
Farmer’s Markets - The Grove Farmer’s Market happens Saturday morning from 8 to 1 on the Downtown Square. And, the Saturday Morning Market has returned in Langley! Happening from 9 to Noon, right next to Reasor’s.
